LEARN FROM LLAMAS: CURSED TECHNIQUES
The enigmatic Cursed Llamas have made their presence known across the Island. Defeat one of these Llamas, and it will yield two potent cursed techniques: the Straw Doll Technique and the Hollow Technique: Purple.
STRAW DOLL TECHNIQUE
The Straw Doll Technique is a rapid hammer combo that hurls nails infused with cursed energy. Employ this technique to forge your path to victory, nailing down your opponents and securing triumph in style.
HOLLOW TECHNIQUE: PURPLE
Often referred to simply as “Purple,” this enigmatic cursed technique is a clandestine amalgamation of cursed powers. It has the power to obliterate structures in its path, leaving chaos in its wake, and inflicts ongoing damage upon your adversaries.
BREAK THE CURSE! QUESTS
Your journey to break the curse entails completing a series of Break the Curse! Quests. These quests reward you with Cursed Energy, a potent resource. You’ll encounter quests related to battling on the Battle Royale Island and earning XP within creator-made islands. Accumulate Cursed Energy to unlock an array of in-game rewards that will enhance your Fortnite experience. Keep tabs on your progress and remaining rewards by navigating to the Break the Curse! tab in the Lobby, where the true challenge begins.

Much has been said of how much money Epic makes from Fortnite but people seem unaware how much it costs to run. The servers, the upkeep, the marketing, everything costs a lot of money and as one of the best games ever created, it has to keep bringing the money in to continue to bring ingenuity to the game.
The press office could be easier to deal with. It is not easy to get press releases delivered to your inbox or regular photos to update with. One even gets the impression that they don’t really like the press and are just happy to run their own marketing wheel without even bothering with magazines that want to bring players more of the game.
Not everyone wants to watch videos – Some people want the information quickly without having to listen to someone for 10 minutes. Not everything is about video. having said that, we will add some video to the site soon but only on the humorous side.
All that aside, look at the good they can do if they want to. Epic has shown itself to be a company that really cares about the world.
Despite being hard to get info out of or to put ideas into, we salute you Epic. carry on the good work.
Much different game play in many respects, building is gone! Temporarily. Most people I played with yesterday seemed to like this aspect but some do not.
Personally I prefer it. We won the first game we played in trios early in the day and I was clocking up 9 kills in solos, which is not bad for me.
I heard some reference to it being like any other war game without building, but it clearly is not. The look and feel are so different and where else can you get such a fun element and non graphic death.
Currently tanks are in the game, they are a game changer. Best way to defeat them is to attack the gunner and take over the position. You can also put dynamite on them or just keep shooting.
The sky ships are awesome. You move up and down now by winches.
People are harder to kill because they have 250 life instead of 200. An extra 50 is given by a self-replenishing shield which starts when you leap out the bus.
You can now sprint and do parkour, jumping and hanging on to ledges.
It should be noted that you can still build in the competitive arena.
We will be having a look at the weapons later today. So far the burst assault is my favourite but also the Combat SMG is very powerful.
Developer Epic will be donating all of its proceeds from the first two weeks to Ukraine-related humanitarian efforts. The action will last from March 20th through April 3rd, and will include all “real-money purchases” in the game, which means purchased V-bucks, subscriptions, gifted battles passes, and certain cosmetic packs. (Epic notes that “using V-Bucks in Fortnite will not be included as those are not real-money purchases.) It will also include retail gift card purchases so long as they’re redeemed during the two-week window.
As part of the effort, Microsoft will also be “committing their net proceeds for Fortnite during this time, so that we can get more aid to the people of Ukraine.” Funds will be donated to a few different organizations, which include Direct Relief, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the United Nations Children’s Fund, and the World Food Programme. The developer says that it will add more supported organizations “in the coming weeks.”
The new season feels much more war-like than previous seasons and was obviously developed before the war between Russia and Ukraine erupted. However, it will no doubt raise a great deal of money for the Ukraine effort and Epic should be praised for its generosity.
We always here how many millions they are making every month but we don’t hear about all the constant costs and man power that go into creating and sustaining a game like this.
All companies that give profits at this time to aid the victims caught in the war should be applauded.
Fortnite is now up and running but with a wait time of over an hour, depending on how lucky you are. We are seeing 2 and a half hours on one account and 4 and a half on another.
This looks like continued problems with login for Epic.
Although officially it was showing as operational.
It is a beautiful day here, warm and sunny so maybe go out for a few hours and enjoy the sunshine.
